Pioneer’s Cold IPA is a crisper version of an IPA, created using pilsner malt, rice and lager yeast. Sounds a bit like an Indian Pale Lager (IPL), right? Because it’s an IPA its ABV is higher (7.8%) than an IPL, We used rice to lighten the body and add a crispness. Since its an IPA, expect plenty hop character. An IPA brewed like a lager!!!!
